Breakfast Smoothie Recipe #1--THE TROPICAL TRUTH You’re going to love this one! I think you’ll find yourself imagining a vacation in a tropical locale, gently being rocked back and forth by a soft ocean breeze while lounging in a hammock, sipping on this Super Smoothie, and becoming the healthiest YOU possible! This smoothie will take you on a relaxing vacation! (Not really, of course, but you could surely imagine yourself on your “tropical vacation from heaven” as you fill your body and soul with this magical smoothie). Savour this smoothie, and enjoy your “tropical paradise.” Ingredients: 1/2 fresh pineapple, sliced and/or cubed 3 oranges, peeled 1 banana, peeled 4 leaves of chard, rinsed, or 2 handfuls fresh baby spinach 1-2 cups water Put all of these yummy ingredients into your smoothie blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Breakfast Smoothie Recipe #2--BERRY PEACHY This is such a lovely smoothie. It’s sweet, mild, and the peach-berry combo is simply perfect! And why in the world would we want to put a peach in a Super Smoothie, besides for their practically perfect flavor? Peaches are loaded with vitamin A--one medium peach contains 465 IU of vitamin A! Peaches also contain folic acid, B vitamins, vitamin C, and lots of fiber! It’s full of goodness--good nutrients and good flavors. Berry Peachy is a joyful smoothie--no kidding, you’ll experience some joy while savoring and after (for a while afterward!) consuming this smoothie! Ingredients: 2 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen 2 cups peach chunks, fresh or frozen 3 nicely sized handfuls fresh spinach 1-2 cups water Place these yummy bits of wholesome heaven into your smoothie blender and blend it all up until it’s reached the consistency of your dreams. Breakfast Smoothie Recipe #3--BLUEBERRIES, ORANGES, MANGOES, BANANAS, AND GREENS--OH MY! Yep, this one has it all, or most of it, and every single one of these smoothie constituents is important, none more valuable than the next. The sum of this smoothie is much more grand than its parts. This Super Smoothie is loaded, no, I’ll say overflowing with “magnificent for you” nutrients! Ingredients: 2 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen 1 cup fresh or frozen mango, chopped to fit your smoothie blender 1 orange, peeled 1 fresh banana, peeled 3-4 leaves of chard, rinsed 1-2 cups water Put it all into your smoothie maker and blend it up until it’s the consistency for which you’ve been waiting all your life!
