Raw Food & Fitness-Day 14

Today marks the 2nd week of our 100-Day Raw Food & Fitness Challenge.

It has been mostly good. There have been a few days we had intense cravings for some cooked food. Our cooked food cravings have more to do with emotions than hunger. It seems like we would experience them when we were bored, tired, upset, angry...usually related to a negative emotion. Instead of eating to assuage ourselves we dealt with the emotions.

Our biggest challenge so far is one shared by many, making eating easy. With our 3 children demanding much of our time we had to figure out how to eat in a completely new way. I think we are still figuring it all out and settling into a routine, but it feels easier and more "regular" at this point.

The kids(with the exception of Wesley who is breastfeeding) aren't eating 100% raw. They do eat a lot of raw fruits and veggies but they still eat brown rice, oatmeal, tofu, beans, steamed veggies and such. We thought we should figure things out for ourselves before trying to get the kids to go raw.
