Raw Food & Fitness-Day 20

Does a low-fat raw food diet provide you with enough energy? You bet it does!

20 days into this challenge and Kirsten and I are feeling great-energized, healthy and vibrant.

We have 3 children under 6, including a 3 month old who needs to eat a couple times a night, who, as any parent knows, require an enormous amount of energy. As a full-time personal fitness trainer I get at 4a.m. to meet my first client at 5a.m. As a full-time mother of 3 three, Kirsten is going all day and night. Neither of get more than 5-7 hours of sleep a night.

Despite all of this, our energy levels are higher than they have been in several years.

We have been vegan for 15 years and we thought we were feeling pretty good. After just 20 days being raw we feel even better.

It made us wonder how many people, especially those eating the animal-based Standard American Diet, feel crumby and don't realize it, or don't realize the extent of it.

It is no wonder caffeine and nicotine are the most widely used and abused drugs. Because all these people feel tired and sluggish they need a stimulant to get them going.

Instead of drugs for energy try a low-fat raw vegan diet--it rocks!
