Raw Food & Fitness-Day 21

One of the things Kirsten and I love about eating raw food is the simplicity.

Since most of our calories come from fruit there is very little preparation involved. We pretty much grab it, wash it, eat it.

There are three pieces of kitchen equipment we use on a regular basis:

1- A bamboo cutting board

2- A sharp kitchen knife

3- A BlendTec Blender

That's it! We hardly have any dirty dishes and we aren't spending a lot of time prepping, cooking and cleaning for meals. This has freed up a lot of time for us to play with the kiddos and talk with each other. With 3 kids more time is always a good thing.

If you want more free time try a low-fat, fruit-based raw vegan diet!
