Raw Food & Fitness-Day 64

Raw Food Story

Today while at work(I work as a full-time personal fitness trainer) my client asked me what I had eaten so far. It was about noon and I had already eaten around 10 bananas and several apples.

Another trainers client overheard our conversation and asked, incredulously, if I was serious. I told her I was eating only raw fruit and veggies.

Can you guess what she asked me? That's right, "where do you get your(everybody say it with me) protein?"

I explained that protein is in everything and I get my protein from all the fruit and greens I eat.

She said, "I have one word for you, steak!"

I smiled and said, "You know, calorie for calorie romaine lettuce has about twice the protein as steak. Plus it doesn't come with heart disease, diabetes, cancer, obesity, suffering, death and environmental destruction. Which you rather eat?"
