It is day 90 of our 100-Day Raw Food & Fitness Journey!
Wow, I can't believe we only have 10 days left. When we just 10 days into this we wrote, "Winter is upon us here in the Pacific Northwest. The days are short, gray and dreary. Kirsten and I are both from Southern Utah where the sun shines brightly most of the winter. We miss the Sun. Please come back Sun, Please!"
Well, 90 days into our journey and spring is here. The Pacific Northwest is still gray and dreary. We're still longing for the sun, and some warm veggie soup...
It's tough eating raw fruits and greens when the weather is gray, windy, cold and wet outside! Nothing sounds better than a big bowl of warm soup! But for today, and the next 9 days, green smoothies will have to do, because we're going to finish this Raw Food and Fitness Journey, no matter how cold it is outside.
We've learned so much about ourselves, food, and health while on this journey. No bowl of cooked soup is worth giving up all we've discovered. We feel healthier on all levels of our being, and most importantly we know ourselves better.
Isn't one big reason to take a "life enhancing, health-improving" journey getting to know oneself a bit better, maybe to understand why we do what we do? And what about getting a glimpse of how amazing we can feel when living as healthfully as possible?
We've had more than glimpses over the past 90 days--we've experienced some fantastic benefits of eating raw vegan foods and exercising regularly! Our lives will never be the same. We'll forever be healthier because of our raw food journey!
Do something wonderful for yourself today, something that will contribute to a more healthy you forever!
We are looking forward to whatever these last 10 days bring. (Hopefully some warmer weather and sunshine.)
