Be Accountable to Someone (a friend, spouse, sibling, parent, child, etc.), Something (YouTube, Facebook, etc.), or a Group of Somebodies (family, co-workers, friends, etc.)
The fact Derrick and I have been doing a video for YouTube and updating our blog daily has kept us accountable while on the Raw Food and Fitness Journey. We feel more committed in a way because we know people are watching and/or reading about our progress from day to day. We feel we'd be letting people down, or maybe even failing, if we weren't able to "commit" to raw food with each and every time we ate something during this 100-day Journey.
Yes, we feel great about all we've accomplished, and it's possible we may have been able to do this without our YouTube video and blog. But I'm certain that because we did decide to post videos and a daily blog, we're holding ourselves accountable to finishing this Journey.
Another way to ensure your success on your own health-improving journey, make yourself accountable to one or more people or "places" and you've got yourself one more reason to make yourself the best you ever!
