Creamy Chive & Dill Dip

Delicious Vegan Recipes for Vibrant Living!

A quick and easy dip to make, delicious to eat-- plus it’s low in fat and calories.

Serve as a salad dressing, a dip for veggies, a spread on sandwiches or veggies wraps, or as a sauce for veggies and rice.

It’s smooth, rich and creamy, and oh so delicious!

Make ahead of time to ensure the flavors have plenty of time to blend.

Ingredients

1 package Mori Nu “lite” tofu (or other “soft” tofu)

1 tablespoon flaxseed oil

1-2 tablespoons rice vinegar

1 tablespoon tamari/soy sauce

¼ -1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

¼ teaspoon black pepper

½ cup fresh chives

2 teaspoons dill weed, or 1 tablespoon fresh dill

Preperation:

Place everything in the blender, except the chives (dill is fine in the blender) and blend until creamy. If using chives, fold in the chives after it’s all blended. Refrigerate for at least 5 hours.

Makes approximately 2 cups.
