Vegan Recipes Pineapple Walnut Cake
Delicious Vegan Recipes for Vibrant Living! Pineapple-Walnut Cake is a perfect dessert!Sheesh, you could even eat this for breakfast—it’s that healthy. No added oil in this cake, mildly sweet, and it’s so very moist and delicious. It’s an easy cake to make wheat-free (just substitute-see below), it can be made in a variety of pans (bundt, rectangular, even loaf pans for a sweet bread instead of a cake), and best of all, it’s good for you! Ingredients: 1 tablespoon egg replacer mixed with 4 tablespoons of water ½ cup natural sweetener (wet or dry) 2 cups whole grain flour (wheat, oat, spelt, etc.) 2 teaspoons baking powder ½ teaspoon cinnamon 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds (optional) 1 teaspoon vanilla ½ raw walnuts, chopped very small (optional) 1 cup crushed pineapple Preparation: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly oil and flour the pan you’ve chosen to use. Blend the egg replacer and water, add the sweetener, flour, baking powder, flax seeds and vanilla. Next, fold in the walnuts and crushed pineapple. Pour the mixture into desired pan and bake for 40-45 minutes. If using bundt pan, invert pan when the cake is cool. Vegan Weight Loss & Fitness Info You Can Use!
